OUR PAST
Parker Lumber Company has provided top quality softwood lumber since 1980 when founders Jeff and Don Parker opened their simple two person sawmill. It was replaced with an automatic mill in 1983, increasing production to meet the growing demand for product sales. They completed a major upgrade and expansion in 1987. The current mill was constructed after the entire mill burned to the ground in 1997. In recognition of manufacturing and service excellence and a commitment to employees and the community, Parker Lumber Company was awarded the 2008 Governor's Award for Business Excellence.
OUR PRESENT
Today, Parker Lumber is owned and operated by Jeff's son, Brian Parker, who purchased the business in 2013. Brian grew up in the sawmill business, stacking stickers at the age of 3 and sawing his first log at 7 years old. He quickly developed a great appreciation and passion for the forest products industry. Brian upholds Parker Lumber's history of continuous improvement and investment in operation and employees. He is strongly supported by his wife, Rosy, and hopes to one day pass down his love of the sawmill to their children William, Alex, and Caroline.

From the beginning, the Parker Family name has been associated with hard work, ingenuity and integrity. Looking forward, our mission will remain the same, however, our ventures will grow because of our commitment to utilize the newest technology and think creatively about our markets' demands.
